How the tiers are drawn

  • 01What markets us stays free

Sharing, image export and the delayed research view live in the free tier. They are how Meridian spreads — gating them would be self-defeat.

  • 02What burns compute sits on top

Full-length backtests and always-on automations cost real machine time, so they live in Quant and in add-ons priced against that cost.

  • 03Free is usable, not a demo

A free account works every day — one sample state pane runs delayed so you can see exactly what realtime would give you, and nothing expires.

Add-ons

Priced against infrastructure we actually pay for, not as feature gates — a gate is what a tier is for.

  • Extra automation slot$7 / slot / moQuant includes the first slot.
  • Backtest compute pack$5 / 1,000 runsFor heavy optimizer use.
  • Data export$10 / moCSV and a private API endpoint.

Questions, answered plainly

When does checkout open?
Meridian is pre-launch. The tiers and prices on this page are the plan we intend to ship — payment is not integrated yet, so nothing here can charge you. The free tier is real today.
Is there a free trial?
The free tier is the trial. It needs no card and never expires — you upgrade the day the locked panes are worth more to you than the price of Pro.
What happens when a price changes?
Existing subscribers keep their old price for twelve months, and hear about any change thirty days ahead.
How do I cancel?
From the settings page, in one step. There is no retention maze — a subscriber who leaves calmly is welcome back.
Does any tier tell me what to buy or sell?
No. Meridian reports market state — regime, flow, energy — and shows its evidence. It does not issue trade signals, and nothing it produces is investment advice.
Why does Quant cost more than Pro?
Quant is the tier that consumes real infrastructure: million-bar backtests and paper automations running around the clock on our workers. The price tracks that cost, not an arbitrary lock.
  • Prices are in USD and exclude any tax your jurisdiction adds at checkout.
  • No free trial and no card required to start — the free tier is the trial, and it does not run out.
  • If a price ever rises, existing subscribers keep the old one for 12 months and hear about it 30 days ahead.
  • Cancel from the settings page whenever you like. There is no retention maze.

Meridian is analysis software. It reports market state; it does not tell you what to buy or sell, and nothing it produces is investment advice.
